NEW YORK—Financial communications specialist Trimedia has been renamed Intermarket Communications.
According to chairman Martin Mosbacher, “After nearly 17 years of serving the public relations needs of companies that operate within or service the world’s financial markets, we thought it was high time we had a corporate identity that reflected our agency’s mission. We believe this is a name that simply and elegantly reflects the 21st century paradigm of what the financial community has become—interlinked, interdependent, international.
“It is a world underpinned by technology, impacted by increasingly complex client demands and requiring a global strategic vision.”
The firm had shared its name with a Swiss company, formerly a partner, although that relationship ended several years ago.
