NEW YORK—Gavin Anderson & Company, a specialist in corporate and financial communications and public affairs, has named three new managing directors in its New York office. Joining the firm are Richard Mahony, Bill McBride and Doug Donsky, all formerly with Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. They will work alongside Monteith Illingworth, head of the office.

Mahony was executive vice president and deputy general manager of Edelman’s global financial communications and investor relations practice. Prior to his tenure at Edelman, he was head of corporate communications at Sapient and worked at J.P. Morgan & Co. as an investment banker and later head of the firm’s worldwide media relations group.
Bill McBride joins from Edelman’s financial communications group where he was executive vice president. Previously he was corporate affairs executive for the asset management group at Bank of America and held communications roles at J.P. Morgan & Co., Bankers Trust, the National Association of Securities Dealers and Lipper. Donsky was a senior vice president of the financial communications and IR at Edelman, and earlier a senior vice president at Morgan-Walke Associates.
