U.S. Potato Board Names Fleishman Agency of Record

The United States Potato Promotion Board has named Fleishman-Hillard as agency of record for consumer public relations in 2003. The account will be based in Fleishman’s Sacramento office.

SACRAMENTO—The United States Potato Promotion Board has named Fleishman-Hillard as agency of record for consumer public relations in 2003. The account will be based in Fleishman’s Sacramento office, and the agency will provide the Potato Board with a wide range of counsel including product promotion, media relations, special events, Hispanic communications and nutritional outreach.

The account, believed to be worth in the seven figure range, was previously handled by FH sister agency Ketchum.

The account team will include representation from a number of Fleishman-Hillard offices including Miami, St. Louis and Washington, D.C., and will be led by Susan Mesick, vice president, in Sacramento.
