USEC Appoints Jacobson as VP, Corporate Comms

Global energy company USEC (the U.S. Enrichment Corporation) has appointed Paul Jacobson as vice president, corporate communications. Jacobson will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of USEC's internal and external communications.

BETHESDA, MD—Global energy company USEC (the U.S. Enrichment Corporation) has appointed Paul Jacobson as vice president, corporate communications. Jacobson will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of USEC's internal and external communications with employees, the media and other constituencies and reports to Christine Ciccone, senior vice president, external relations.

 

Prior to joining USEC, Jacobson was principal at Jacobson Communications and Colorado and served as a communications consultant to several organizations. Prior to that, he served as vice president, corporate communications, for Evergreen Energy, a green energy technology company focused on mitigating the effects of coal-fired electricity production.

 

Previously, he served as vice president, corporate communications, for Adelphia Communications, as part of a reorganization management team that guided the company for three years, and as deputy director of communications for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.), and vice president, corporate communications, for STARZ Encore Group.
