NEW DELHI--Visa has handed Indian communications duties to Genesis Burson-Marsteller.

The firm is charged with communicating the benefits of electronic payments, and promoting the company's developments in safe and efficient payment innovations.

In addition, Genesis Burson-Marsteller will support Visa’s commitment to financial inclusion for all of India.                                                     

The company previously worked with Edelman India.

The agency will provide counsel and tactical support to Visa’s ongoing communications efforts, using media outreach to technology and consumer audiences. It will also seek to educate and engage stakeholders, in a bid to demonstrate Visa’s leadership in the sector.
