Visa Hands Indian PR Brief To Genesis Burson-Marsteller

Visa has Indian communications duties to Genesis Burson-Marsteller.

NEW DELHI--Visa has handed Indian communications duties to Genesis Burson-Marsteller.

The firm is charged with communicating the benefits of electronic payments, and promoting the company's developments in safe and efficient payment innovations.

In addition, Genesis Burson-Marsteller will support Visa’s commitment to financial inclusion for all of India.                                                     

The company previously worked with Edelman India.

“Visa is moving at a fast pace in delivering access, safety and ease to financial transactions for businesses, governments as well as individual consumers around the globe,” said Genesis B-M founder and principal Prema Sagar.

“As Visa further develops what is already the most advanced payment processing network in the in the world, we are delighted to be working with them to highlight these advancements through strategic and targeted communications.”

The agency will provide counsel and tactical support to Visa’s ongoing communications efforts, using media outreach to technology and consumer audiences. It will also seek to educate and engage stakeholders, in a bid to demonstrate Visa’s leadership in the sector.
