Waggener Edstrom Names Huttl to Lead German Operations

Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has named Manuel Hüttl as general manager of Waggener Edstrom Worldwide in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

MUNICH—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has named Manuel Hüttl as general manager of Waggener Edstrom Worldwide in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In his new role, Hüttl is responsible for expanding the agency’s local roster of Central European accounts and extending WE’s global accounts in the region. He replaces Shaun Wootton, who has taken a leadership role with the agency’s Singapore office.

Hüttl has 10 years of experience as a senior public relations executive and agency manager. He has driven projects and events for a wide array of groups, including the venture capital and sporting-business sectors, with significant contacts within the z.B. Professional Golfers Association, International Ice Hockey Federation, FIFA and Deutscher Eishockey-Bund e.V.

Before joining WE, he held senior positions at some of the top German advertising and public relations agencies, serving as director of advanced technologies with komm.passion as well as managing director of the specialist IT communication agency billo PR.
