LEXINGTON, MA—Gomez, a leading provider of web application performance management solutions, has created a new role of public relations and communications director and appointed industry veteran Cathy O’Leary Hayes to the position.
Hayes will be responsible for distinguishing Gomez’s unique approach to Internet performance through focused media and consultant outreach, detailing the successes of Gomez customers who have generated new revenue, cut costs and strengthened their brands by optimizing their website performance. Hayes will also oversee development of the company’s annual customer conference and its executive strategy board. She reports to William Agush, Gomez’s vice president of marketing.
Hayes was most recently chief marketing officer for International Data Group’s CXO Media, which publishes CIO magazine. She previously served as director of corporate communications for D&B Software (formerly McCormack & Dodge), a supplier of financial, human resource and manufacturing applications.
