NEW YORK—Clients of Ketchum and Weber Shandwick received the most nominations for the North American SABRE Awards, after close to 50 judges finished sorting through around 2,000 entries for the 2017 competition.

Ketchum clients received 24 nominations—while Weber Shandwick clients received 23 nominations (including four for the firm’s Creation unit) for the Diamond and Gold awards—which recognize excellence in public relations campaigns. Edelman was the only other firm with double digit client nominations (14).

Other agencies with multiple nominations included: Burson-Marsteller, Cohn & Wolfe and Ogilvy (eight nominations each); Golin, M Booth and MWWPR (seven); Allison+Partners (six); FleishmanHillard, MSLGroup, Mullen Lowe, Padilla and Zeno Group (five); and Carmichael Lynch Relate, Havas PR including Havas Formula, LDWWgroup, Olson Engage, rbb Communications, RF Binder, and WE Communications (four).
