Whitehead Named President at Flowers

Flowers Communications Group has named Rashada Whitehead as president. Whitehead, who rejoined the agency in 2008 as managing director, will be responsible for leading the firm into its next phase of thought leadership.

CHICAGO, IL—Flowers Communications Group has named Rashada Whitehead as president. Whitehead, who rejoined the agency in 2008 as managing director, will be responsible for leading the firm into its next phase of thought leadership.

 

This year marks the 20th year anniversary of FCG, which focuses on African-American and Hispanic consumer markets, but is quickly expanding its capabilities to service other consumer segments. According to founder and CEO, Michelle Flowers Welch: “As we look at the demographic shift in America, there is now a tremendous demand for multicultural communications experts.”  

 

FCG’s current clients and partners include American Honda Motor, the Chicago White Sox, City Colleges of Chicago, Cook County Department of Public Health, Club Z! Tutoring, Fleishman Hilliard, Green Park, Illinois Department of Transportation, McDonald’s, MillerCoors, Sears Holdings Corp., (Kmart and Sears) and Wells Fargo.
