CHICAGO—Aon Corp., a leader in risk advice and human capital consulting, has added David Prosperi as global vice president of public relations, based in Chicago. Prosperi will be responsible for coordinating and managing the company’s global public relations strategy and will serve as the company’s corporate spokesman.
Before joining Aon, Prosperi was managing director, corporate marketing and communications, for CME, the derivatives exchange, where he was responsible for the corporate communications and public relations functions. Previously he served as senior vice president of corporate communications and assistant to the president of the Chicago Board of Trade.
Prosperi was also assistant secretary of transportation for public affairs under President George H.W. Bush and assistant White House press secretary to President Reagan from 1981 to 1982.
