Brand building consultancy
As the name (dyna is the Greek preface meaning powerful) implies, Dynabrand is dedicated to helping clients build strong brands through public relations. That’s a talent founder Carla Stanmyre honed during an agency career that included senior positions at Hill & Knowlton and GCI Group, where she served as managing director of the North American marketing practice and woked on clients including British Airways, Intel, Iomega, Norwegian Cruise Line, Procter & Gamble, Seagram and Starwood Hotels. Now she has brought together a team of industry veterans, supported by the counsel of vertical market experts to provide clients with strategic, marketing-oriented PR support across a variety of industry sectors.
Dynabrand experienced 26 percent revenue growth in 2004, with new business wins including Interstate Connections, the nation’s leading provider of wireless technologies to the $46 billion interstate trucking market; Market Insight Corporation, a research firm founded by a former Census Bureau chief; and NovaDermis International, a therapeutic skin care company. In addition, Dynabrand’s work for client Zensys, a wireless chip maker, expanded and the firm provided pro bono counsel to several cultural organizations in Austin including Ballet Austin, Austin Museum of Art and Arthouse.
The firm’s work for Internet Home Alliance, a consortium of companies—including Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble and Whirlpool—working to advance the home technology market, has been particularly impressive.
