Ogilvy Adds Two to Health and Medical Practice

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired David Bashaw and Pat Donohue as senior vice presidents in its health and medical practice.

NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired David Bashaw and Pat Donohue as senior vice presidents in its health and medical practice.

Bashaw joins the agency from Edelman, where he served as a senior vice president/group head on a number of pharmaceutical accounts. Prior to his four years with Edelman, he was with Stratis Communications in a number of account management positions. He will take leadership on a number of products in the men’s health and diabetes areas. 

Donohue joins the agency after spending four years on the client side, most recently as director of communications for McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals, where she led communications strategies and implementation for several Tylenol brands as well as spearheaded the launch of Pepcid Complete. Prior to her work with McNeil, she served as a vice president at Ketchum. At Ogilvy, she will assume leadership on a number of Merck products.
