RALEIGH, NCFrench/West/Vaughan has appointed Kristen Levine president of its pet and veterinary practice, FWV Fetching. Levine (pictured) had previously served as the division’s senior VP. In 2003, Levine founded Fetching Communications, the nation’s first marketing and public relations agency dedicated solely to the pet industry, which FWV acquired in 2017.

CHICAGO — Prophet has expanded its leadership teams in Chicago and New York with the additions of Jeffrey Nemetz and Brenda Natoli, respectively. Nemetz, who joins as partner, is a veteran healthcare strategist whose career includes founding and running the firm Health Brand Group. Natoli joins as head of verbal branding from The New York Times, where she was head of voice.

NEW YORK — Catherine London has left her position as head of Bioasis Technologies’ corporate communications to lead a new US subsidiary of UK firm Consilium Strategic Communications. London will serve as president of Consilium Strategic Communications US. The subsidiary was created to expand Consilium’s client base in the US and support its current European and global healthcare clients with US media management, strategic communications, financial communications, advocacy relations and transaction support.

TORRANCE, CA — The Hoyt Organization has named Dan Minkoff an associate VP and member of its senior management team. Minkoff most recently worked as an independent public relations, communications and business writing consultant. Previously, he led corporate communications at Vanir Construction Management.

MINNEAPOLIS — Padilla has promoted three members of its team across practice groups. In New York, Chelsea Elkin has been promoted to director from account supervisor at FoodMinds, Padilla’s food and nutrition group. Kirsten Lesak-Greenberg, also New York-based, was promoted from account supervisor to director in Padilla’s health Practice. In Padilla’s Washington office, Kim Blake was promoted to senior director from director in the agency’s health practice.

BIRMINGHAM, AL AND WASHINGTON — Markstein has hired of Nina Iorg as senior director, as which she will lead the firm’s digital influence team in its Birmingham and Washington offices. Prior to joining Markstein, she served as the marketing and licensing director for Time Inc., working with brands including Real Simple, Sports Illustrated, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, PEOPLE, Southern Living and Coastal Living.

NEW YORK – Forefront Communications has hired Alice Uribe as a VP. Uribe joins Forefront with over 10 years’ experience in journalism, communications and digital media production. She most recently served as a journalist at The Australian Financial Review.

LAS VEGAS — Adduco Communications has hired Tim Colbert for the newly-created position of strategy and content director. Colbert has more than 20 years of branding, marketing, and public relations leadership, as both an in-house marketing executive and as an agency veteran in New York City and Pittsburgh, most recently as public relations director at Shift Collaborative.
