ATLANTA—Edelman has named Steven Behm (pictured) to lead its Atlanta office as general manager. He will report to Matthew Harrington, CEO of Edelman US. Behm joined Edelman five years ago to build the Southeast crisis, risk and public affairs practice, and also served the firm’s national crisis and risk practice as associate director. Previously, Behm worked in Washington, DC, where he worked in government and political campaigns for more than a decade.

SEATTLE—Hill & Knowlton has promoted Christiaan Brown to general manager of the firm’s Northwest operations. He will report directly to Dan Bartlett, US president and CEO and will focus on expanding H&K’s local business across corporate, technology and public affairs practice groups in the firm’s Seattle and Spokane offices. Prior to H&K, Brown worked at Porter Novelli and spent more than six years managing Hewlett-Packard‘s consumer, SMB and enterprise product launches.

NEW YORK—MSLGroup has appointed Loretta Prencipe as vice president in the agency’s growing energy and environment practice group. Most recently, Prencipe supported the office of renewable energy and energy efficiency at the US Department of Energy as a senior communications counselor. Previously, she served as communications director for solar energy services company SunEdison.

TORONTO—National Public Relations has added Jennifer Lee, most recently director of corporate communications at Kaboose, as a senior consultant in its financial communications practice. In addition, Luc Levasseur joins as senior consultant with the corporate team from Edelman, and Anne Morello as a consultant in the technology practice form The iPR Group. In addition, the firm has promoted Elisabeth Mozel-Jury to manager, health; Mark van Tol to senior consultant, marketing; and Audrey Farrell to senior consultant, research.
