SINGAPORE — APCO has named new healthcare and corporate leaders in Southeast Asia, following James Yi's arrival as regional MD last year.

The firm has hired Stephanie Tan from Spurwing Communications as healthcare practice lead, while Ayesha Khan joins from Burson Cohn & Wolfe as managing consultant, focusing on corporate and public affairs.

"Stephanie and Ayesha bring the necessary skills and capabilities in health care and corporate affairs for APCO to further grow in the region," said Yi in a statement.

The appointments come after Yi replaced Garry Walsh as APCO's Southeast Asia MD nine months ago, after serving as Burson's market leader and CEO in Korea.

"With a reinvigorated senior leadership team, we will be even better equipped to support our clients and help them thrive by providing innovative solutions based on strong strategic analysis and engagement, geopolitical risk assessment, public affairs, leadership development and employee advocacy," said Yi.

Tan spent three years with Spurwing, while Khan counts more than five years with WPP, first with Cohn & Wolfe, and then Burson-Marsteller until the two firms merged.
