SYDNEY — opr has appointed Melissa Cullen managing partner and Ben Cooper associate director creative and digital.  The agency has also promoted Dan Young to the newly created role of chief digital officer. In her new role Cullen, who spent the last two years consulting, is the client lead for Microsoft; Young continues to oversee the agency’s digital and social capabilities and Cooper, who returns to opr following two and a half years in the United States at Netflix, will work across several of the agency’s clients.

HONG KONG — Archetype Hong Kong has hired corporate and consumer communications vet Shenel Moore-Bick as a senior consultant. Moore-Bick joins from the British Consulate-General, where she was campaigns manager for Greater China. Moore-Bick will oversee strategic communications, PR and content marketing campaigns for a range of clients including Cigna, Tricor and Xero, as well as play a leading role in Archetype’s new business drive.

SYDNEY — Red Havas Sydney executive director, Jackie Crossman will be stepping down from her role at the end of 2019. Following four years at the helm of the Sydney PR operation, Crossman will take time to pursue her passion for travel while also continuing as a consultant to the Red Havas Group in 2020. This will include leading a global talent initiative to upskill teams across Red Havas’ international network. In addition, the Sydney operation will elevate specialist practice leads to form a board of directors to drive success in its next phase of development. They are: consumer head Adam Freedman; tech and B2B head Symon Madry; lifestyle and leisure head Reema Babakhan; healthcare head Sue Cook; and business director Grant Richmond-Coggan.

MELBOURNE — Eleven has been appointed the PR agency of record for Lavazza following a competitive pitch process. Eleven’s appointment will see work commence immediately focusing on Lavazza’s sponsorship of the 2020 Australian Open Grand Slam, with a strong focus on PR and social activations. Eleven’s remit will also include communications strategy, media relations, influencer engagement and partnerships with the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) – as well as providing integrated solutions via co-located sister agency, TBWA.
