LAS VEGAS—Caesars Entertainment Corporation has appointed Richard Broome as executive vice president of public affairs and communications. Broome will lead all of Caesars' internal and external communications efforts, including those at the corporate center and the properties. He was previously global head of corporate affairs and government relations at Hertz.
CHARLOTTE, NC—Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated has named Kimberly Kuo (pictured) as senior vice president of public affairs, communications and communities. Kuo began her career as press aide for Senate Majority Leader and then presidential candidate Bob Dole, and vice presidential candidate Jack Kemp. She was primary spokesperson for Internet giant AOl, and later served as chief marketing officer for book and entertainment distributor Baker & Taylor. Most recently, she was principal consultant at Sterling Strategies.
LAS VEGAS—Scientific Games Corporation has named Susan Cartwright vice president of corporate communications, reporting directly to president and chief executive officer Gavin Isaacs, and responsible for global external and internal communications as well as the company's corporate social responsibility program. She most recently served as vice president of corporate communications for IGT, and before that held positions with Noble Communications, Omnicom's Element 79, Energy BBDO and DDB, and Leo Burnett.
BOSTON—Natixis Global Asset Management has hired Ted Meyer as senior vice president of global public relations and communications. Meyer joins Natixis from Reality Shares, where he was the director of communications. He will report to Caren Leedom, executive vice president of global communications and public relations.
