NEW YORK—Christopher Giglio has been appointed vice president, corporate global communications, at The Estée Lauder Companies. He will report to Alexandra Trower, executive vice president, global communications, and will be responsible for media relations, internal and external communications, and executive communications. Giglio most recently served as executive vice president of the corporate and crisis communications practice at HL Group, a marketing and communications firm, and before that was a director at Kroll Associates.

NEW ORLEANS, LA—Entergy Corporation has named Necole Merritt group vice president, corporate communications, providing leadership for the company's internal and external communications organization. Merritt joins Entergy after serving as vice president of marketing and communications for the Morehouse School of Medicine. Prior to that, she was chief communications officer and vice president of public affairs for Atlanta-based Cox Communications, and worked for BellSouth and AT&T for nine years.

CYPRESS, CA—Mitsubishi Motors North America has appointed automotive industry public relations veteran Alex Fedorak as its new public relations manager. Fedorak was most recently president of Pacific Rim Public Relations, and before that held public relations and communications positions with Kia Motors and Subaru of America.

WASHINGTON, DC—The Export-Import Bank of the United States has hired Catrell Brown as vice president for public affairs and Matt Bevens as senior communications advisor. Brown comes to the Bank most recently from the Executive Leadership Council, where she served as director of communications. Before that she worked at Powell Tate Weber Shandwick. Bevens joins most recently from the US Department of the Treasury. Prior to that role, he held positions with the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Obama for America and at SKDKnickerbocker.
