BOSTON—Life insurance giant John Hancock has appointed Anne McNally as vice president, head of corporate communications, overseeing external and internal communications and reporting to Barbara Goose, chief marketing officer. McNally previously served as global head of public relations for State Street, responsible for public relations and integrated promotions across the organization. During her tenure, she led the public relations strategy for State Street's "Fearless Girl."
LOS ANGELES—Jean Guerin has been named executive vice president, publicity and corporate communications, at Fox Broadcasting Company. Guerin will be the chief media strategist for Fox, overseeing all program publicity campaigns and corporate communications outreach. She joins from Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group, where she was senior vice president, media relations. Prior to Sony, Guerin spent 14 years with NBC Universal.
PHILADELPHIA—Axalta Coating Systems has named Robert Ferris as vice president of corporate affairs and chief communications officer, responsible for developing and executing internal and external communications strategy and overseeing the company’s global corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Matthew Winokur, formerly vice president, corporate affairs, has been named Axalta’s vice president of sustainability. Ferris spent 13 years at Honeywell as chief spokesperson on all global corporate and financial media. Before joining Honeywell, he was a senior vice president at the GCI Group.
TORONTO—The Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada has appointed Aimee Sulliman as vice president, public affairs, providing senior leadership on the development and execution of a robust public affairs strategy and direction and oversight for events and communications. Sulliman's experience includes senior roles in Market Access and Government Relations with several research based pharmaceutical companies, National Public Relations, and the Ontario government.
BOSTON—Ziopharm Oncology, a biopharmaceutical company focusing on new immunotherapies, has hired David Connolly as vice president of corporate communications and investor relations. Prior to joining Ziopharm, he served as senior vice president at JPA Health Communications and before that, LaVoieHealthScience.
LOS ANGELES—The Lagrant Foundation has named eBay senior vice president and chief communications officer Daniel Tarman to its board of directors. Tarman will serve on the TLF Talent Acquisition Committee.
