AUSTIN, TX — Darcy Keller, who spent more than a decade with the Financial Times, has joined the investment firm Dimensional Fund Advisors as head of corporate communications.

Keller will oversee global internal and external communications. She will focus on growing Dimensional’s reputation for leadership and innovation — and the role that plays in driving customer experience.

Her hiring is part of Dimensional's larger effort to build out its leadership team. The firm has offices around the world.

Keller most recently served as chief communications and marketing officer at the Financial Times, which she left last spring to return to Austin, her hometown.

A former member of the Influence 100, Keller’s rise up the ranks at the FT had seen the storied newspaper redefine its approach to marketing, particularly in terms of its digital influence. She took on communications leadership of the brand in 2013, before adding marketing duties following the FT’s sale by Pearson to Nikkei in 2015.

Keller was also a director on the FT Group’s executive board, where she oversaw corporate governance, global strategy and digital transformation. She initially joined the FT in 2007 to lead North American communications.
