LONDON—Alison Couper has left Hotels.com, where she was senior director of global communications, after a decade with the company.

Couper confirmed her exit to the Holmes Report, noting that she had left "to pursue another exciting opportunity."

Taylor Cole, Hotels.com's North America public relations head, told the Holmes Report that a search is underway for Couper's replacement, but declined to provide any further comment on Couper's exit.

Couper joined Hotels.com in 2004, three years after the hotel booking website was acquired by Expedia. She had previously held numerous comms roles at a range of companies, including British Airways, Sea Containers and Rentokil Initial.

At Hotels.com, Couper was responsible for global strategy and execution of PR and brand communications. The company has grown considerably over the past decade, and now works with a range of PR firms, including Finn Partners in North America and Frank PR in the UK.
