PARK RIDGE, NJ--Hertz has retained Ketchum as its consumer PR agency in the US and UK, following a recent review.
The Holmes Report understands that incumbent firm Ketchum prevailed against a final round line-up that included Edelman, and an agency combination led by independents Coyne PR and Frank PR.
The review, which covered the car rental giant’s consumer PR activity, also included France, for which independent firm La Maison Link has been selected.
The assignment focuses on product communications, press office and special projects. Ketchum has overseen the business since 2008.
Hertz SVP of corporate affairs and communications Rich Broome declined to comment.
