MONTVALE, NJ—Mercedes-Benz USA has named Scott Keogh general manager of corporate communications at the company’s New Jersey headquarters. Keogh replaces Jeff Fisher who is now general manager of corporate communications for Freightliner.
 
In his new role Keogh is responsible for corporate communications strategies and initiatives for the company’s U.S. operations, including media, public, product and corporate communications and events as well as internal communications. He also serves as liaison with the communications teams in the Stuttgart and Auburn Hills headquarters of DaimlerChrysler
 
Keogh will report to Paul Halata, president and CEO for MBUSA.
 
Since joining MBUSA in 1994, Keogh has held a series of increasingly responsible positions within marketing communications, most recently as manager, communication planning and brand development. Previously, Keogh specialized in corporate and crisis communications for Burson Marsteller.
