LONDON—Global management consultancy Hay Group has appointed Man Bites Dog to manage its six figure European public relations brief. The campaign, which covers 25 European countries, will include retained public relations, international co-ordination and thought leadership across the region.

Man Bites Dog has worked with Hay Group—one of its founding clients—for more than six years, managing both UK retained PR and thought leadership, as well as a range of global projects. The new appointment, following a five-way competitive pitch, will see the firm take responsibility for Hay Group’s media outreach and European PR activities, as well as delivering thought leadership campaigns and a best practice program.

According to Hayley Brooksbank, head of European marketing, said: “Man Bites Dog really impressed us at the pitch with its creativity and enthusiasm. It presented a very well thought out plan of how to deal with our issues, and we know the quality of its service and delivery from our UK work, so it was a very easy decision to make.”
