OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS — Fast food giant McDonald’s is bringing in WE Communications to boost awareness of its consumer technology services, the Holmes Report can reveal.

The decision comes after McDonald's held a competitive review for the brief last month.

"We are excited to work with WE on communicating McDonald's many new consumer experiences," said Jano Cabrera, SVP for corporate relations at McDonald's.

"In a very short period of time, we have introduced delivery, mobile ordering, table side service, curbside pickup and are working hard to modernize further the restaurant experience. We have more planned and are looking forward to working with WE as we raise the bar on new experiences at McDonald's."

The new assignment is not thought to infringe on McDonald’s six-decade long relationship with its key global partner, Golin.
