NEW YORK, March 7—Biotechnology specialist Noonan Russo Communications, acquired by Havas in July of last year, is merhing with the holding company’s PResence Euro RSCG unit to create what Euro RSCG Healthcare co-chairman Ron Pantello describes as “a new, truly differentiated communications agency” called Noonan Russo Presence Euro RSCG.
 
The new company offers experience in corporate, media, and investor relations, and marketing communications services, and can leverage the global capabilities of Euro RSCG Healthcare, the world’s third-largest healthcare network, with 44 agencies serving healthcare clients in 17 countries throughout Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
 
Says Pantello, “We believe healthcare companies—from entrepreneurial to multinational—need and value a holistic view of their company, their communications, and the healthcare environment. Together Noonan/Russo and PResence will address that need and deliver on their promise of focused and expert counsel backed by flexible service packages.”
 
Noonan/Russo reported 2000 revenues of around $14 million. PResence has revenues of around $5 million.
