SINGAPORE—ACI Worldwide has handed PR duties for three Asia-Pacific markets to Bite, as it attempts to lift its profile in the region.

Bite is charged with overseeing public relations and social media for ACI in Singapore, India and Australia, amid considerable digital disruption in the payments space.

"Working with Bite’s regional teams will allow us to drive the conversation on how financial organisations can meet the needs of the world’s most demanding technology environments,” said Paul Henaghan, ACI Asia Pacific and Japan managing director.

The new assignment follows Bite's work for payment and financial services companies such as Gemalto, Swift, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and DBS Bank.

“New payment technologies are taking centre stage in APAC and as the lines between tech providers and financial institutions blur, it is increasingly important to develop innovative, integrated strategies to cut through the clutter and create meaningful conversations,” says Paul Mottram, Bite Asia-Pacific EVP.
