NEW YORK—Our new SABRE Awards web platform is open, and accepting entries for the 2018 awards competition from North America, the EMEA region, Latin America and Africa. The early deadline for entries is December 15, 2017, although entries will be accepted—with an additional late fee—until January 29, 2018.

The new site includes relevant information for all of the regional competitions, including categories, fees, key dates, and advice on crafting a winning entry. It also provides a streamlined and intuitive system for uploading all entry and payment information.

“It’s important to us that we see—and celebrate—the best public relations work from around the world,” says Paul Holmes, founder of The Holmes Report and the SABRE Awards. “Examining work in a peer review environment provides the insight that fuels our understanding of industry trends and agency performance. It’s critical to our mission, and we are delighted to unveil a new site that will make the whole process, from entering to judging, easier for everyone.”

The SABRE Awards—with a 25-yearr heritage—now cover the entire global public relations business through six regional competitions, making them the largest and most prestigious awards programs in the PR world.

“Award shows in general are important tools for industry development,” says Tom Beckman, global head of creative, Weber Shandwick. “I’ve followed the award shows in our industry closely for many years identifying benchmarks, trends and key success factors. These insights have been paramount in evolving our own work and attracting both clients and talents. Some people think award shows is a vanity thing, but when treated the right way they are platforms for knowledge sharing and hold the key to future-proofing your business.”

Adds Barby Siegel, CEO, of Zeno Group: “The SABRE Awards put a spotlight on the industry’s most compelling work, especially focusing on programs and initiatives that drives real business impact. Winning a SABRE is not only huge validation for the increasingly strategic role of insight-driven and measurable communications, but it is a galvanizing moment for our teams who take great pride in the work they do together with our clients.”

There are separate sites for entries in North America, the EMEA region, Latin America and Africa.
