HONG KONG — SAP has named former Prudential marketer Michael McComb as VP of brand communication for Greater China.

McComb leaves Prudential after three years as director of brand in Hong Kong, where he oversaw a broad portfolio including regional brand strategy, advertising, digital and social media marketing and market research & insights.

Prior to joining Prudential in 2014, McComb held a series of senior marketing and communications roles in Asia. He spent almost three years as international strategy lead for WPP's Bank of America Merrill Lynch team, after a two-year stint as the Hong Kong Jockey Club's head of brand.

Before that, McComb was the South China Morning Post's director of marketing and communications, and also served four years as international MD of TBWA's Disruption Consultancy.

At SAP, McComb joins a communications function that is led by regional corporate affairs and CSR lead Jeanette Tan.
