LONDON — Taylor Herring has won the consumer PR account for British clothing brand Boden, after a non-competitive pitch. 

The agency’s brief is to create “engaging integrated campaigns which drive brand fame,” as well as amplifying seasonal clothing ranges and key product lines in the UK and in international markets including Germany and the US. It is the first time the brand has hired an agency with this remit.

Taylor Herring’s first piece of work for the online fashion retailer is the tongue-in-cheek Boden Autumn campaign, The Joy Of Leaf Jumping. The hero video features supermodel and racing car driver Jodie Kidd launching the new “sport: while jumping into piles of autumn leaves in styles such as “The Foliage Flop,” alongside Boden founder Johnnie Boden.

Agency co-founder James Herring is leading the account alongside senior account director Jemima Van Der Dalton, reporting to Boden’s director of brand Olivia Browne.

Herring told the Holmes Report: “Boden were looking for an attention-grabbing, creative approach that mirrors their own joyful and uplifting brand values. The brand has ambitious plans for the year ahead and we’re delighted to be working with them in the UK as well as supporting international markets.”
