GENEVA--Waggener-Edstrom’s global expansion continues with the launch of a new wholly-owned office in the Swiss city of Geneva.

The office will service key healthcare, technology and social innovation clients including Shire, Honeywell Aerospace and the International Trade Centre.

Waggener-Edstrom Switzerland is led by Amy Petty, who reports to EMEA MD Chris Talaago. Petty transfers from Wag-Ed's Boston office, where she was an account director working on global and national pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts

In addition, the firm has also added three new affiliates to its Global Alliance network: Brazil’s Fundamento Comunicação Corporativa; Philippines firm GeiserMaclang Communications; and EDF Communications, based in Miami, with offices across Latin America.

Earlier this year, meanwhile, the agency acquired Munich-based consultancy Patzer PR.

The expansion takes Wag-Ed’s network to 19 wholly-owned offices worldwide with 30 affiliates and partners, serving more than 80 markets.
