Jenny Campbell

Chief Marketing Officer
Tinder
US

Amid the abundance of dating apps on the market, none have made quite as much cultural impact as Tinder. The stunningly popular app, owned by the Match Group, has reframed online dating around its ‘swipe right’ (seemingly endless) virtual marketplace. CMO Jenny Campbell joined the company last September, on the heels of the brand’s impressive social change initiative #representlove, which resulted in the first interracial couple emoji.

Campbell joins Tinder as the company is facing new competitors, most notably Facebook. Her hire came alongside a series of senior leadership changes by Tinder CEO Elie Seidman, including new posts in in  HR, finance, analytics and engineering. "We have built an iconic brand that is a central part of social culture. We're taking our global marketing to the next level and Jenny's wealth of experience and talent is a critical and exciting addition," Seidman said in announcing Campbell’s appointment.

Campbell was most recently managing director at entertainment powerhouse 72 and Sunny. Prior to that, she was a global brand director at Nike for various areas including Nike+ Member Services, NikeFuelband and Nike+ Running. She began her career at Wieden+Kennedy, working with Nike, Electronic Arts, Target and Microsoft.
